Rita Lee was never one to expose her intimate life, exposure became even rarer after she discovered lung cancer. On Monday evening, 13, Roberto de Carvalho, the husband of the singer, published a rare photo of the artist.
In the post, Rita Lee appears seated in an armchair, holding a tray and cup. Carvalho just put heart emojis in the caption. Fans and friends filled the post with messages of love for the singer.
In May 2021, the artist was diagnosed with lung cancer. The disease went into remission and the singer was discharged in April last year.
Roberto’s parents, Antônio and João, Rita Lee and Roberto de Carvalho have been together for almost 50 years. However, they made their relationship official 26 years ago.
