MC Pipokinha canceled concert at festival in RN: “Unnecessary behavior”

The organization of Spotted party revealed, last Thursday, 9, that he has opted to Cancel THE presentation from the MC Pipokinhaafter the funk artist’s controversial statements about the teachers’ performance.

The event takes place on 5 August at h Arena das DunasIn Christmasto the great northern river. This Friday the 10th, mc danny has been confirmed as the new attraction of the festival.

Through a note on social networks, the organization specified that it did not want to “compact and finance people who use characters to go beyond the limits of common sense”.

“In recent weeks, several controversial statements have changed our view of the singer and on 06/03 we became aware of her new statements with unnecessary behavior of attacks on teachers,” the statement reads.

The note reiterates that the Spotted Fest originated within the academic milieu and was “welcomed” by the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN) and its students, gaining national prominence during its ten-year existence.

Statements by MC Pipokinha

The statements against teachers cited by the Spotted Fest organization were made by MC Pipokinha in a video posted recently on Instagram Stories.

The funk artist had received a message from a follower, who reported that he had an argument with a teacher over the singer.

“Poor her, she’s already a teacher. Because to be a teacher you have to love the job very much. Hearing insults from other people’s children, you don’t have to have anything to do at home anyway. And still receive what a teacher receives, which is almost nothing. Teachers are humiliated for being teachers,” she said.

Then he continued: “She can take her anger out on you by sending you to different jobs and failing you on the test. Don’t argue with her.”
