The 60-year-old Australian filmmaker wore a $263,000 (R$1.3 million at current prices) necklace at the ceremony, according to information fromthe Daily Mail. The piece, signed by David Webb, was composed of a jade plate surrounded by diamonds.

Baz Luhrmann was accompanied by his wife Catherine Martin and daughter Lillian. Caterina was also nominated in the Best Firugino category, also for her participation in elvisa feature film chronicling the life of the King of Rock from his impoverished childhood to his rise to global superstardom before his untimely death in 1977 at the age of 42.
