Sandy sings with Coldplay in Sao Paulo

British band Coldplay’s fourth show presented a surprise for Brazilian fans. During the performance on Tuesday night (14/3), in São Paulo, singer Sandy joined the band on stage at the Morumbi stadium.

She was accompanied by Chris Martin on the piano to sing “Como Você Passa”, which won over the chorus of the stadium audience, belting out the lines of “Turu Turu”.

In addition, Sandy also sang “Magic” with Martin, one of the band’s main hits, released nine years ago on the album “Ghost Stories”.

Martin arranged for Sandy to participate on Sunday (12/3), during a meeting in a restaurant, which also had NGO guests.

The singer celebrated the performance on her Instagram Stories, posting a photo of her happiness, with the caption: “Mum, I sang with Coldplay!!! Zerei a vidaaaaaa!!!”.

In the first shows in São Paulo, the guest was Seu Jorge, who joined the band to sing “Amiga da Minha Mulher”, by Jorge Ben.

The shows at the Morumbi continue on Friday (17/3) and Saturday (18/3), and then the band will perform in Curitiba, at the Couto Pereira stadium, on March 21 and 22, and in Rio de Janeiro, in Engenhão, on the 25 and March 26th.
