A coffee that will represent “a premium lifestyle created and inspired by the next generation of entrepreneurs”, reads the press release sent to CNN.

“My relationship with coffee goes back a long way. Long nights in the studio making hit after hit, coffee provided the fuel that kept us going. Today marks the launch of a new company I created together with the my partner Michael, who introduced me to the best Indonesian coffee,” Snoop said.

The rapper also said that the product will change the industry. The beans come from Gayo, a region of Aceh on the island of Sumatra, Indonesia. The name chosen for the brand refers to the abbreviation of Indonesia, i.e. ‘Indo’.

The statement further explained that “the Gayo region is renowned for the production of high-quality Arabica, which is grown in the lovely mountain basin around Lake Tawar and the city of Takengon.”
