It’s no secret that many celebrities, in addition to acting in films or singing, are also engaged in business. One of the popular trends is to open your own restaurant. Or even several! Here are the stars who managed not to burn out.

In 2003, the singer opened the first 40/40 Club in New York. Soon there were as many as five, but bars in Las Vegas and Atlantic City couldn’t stand the competition. And the Brooklyn and Atlanta airport locations are still open. The name comes from a baseball term for 40 “home runs” and “stolen bases” in a single season. The bars offer a wide selection of drinks and snacks.
The actor is one of the investors in the Moroccan restaurant Tagine in Los Angeles. The restaurant’s website says the actor decided to open it after trying several dishes from chef Abdessamad Benamer and said he was ready to eat like this for the rest of his life. “Chef Ben” has been running the kitchen there ever since.
The legendary actor has long been known as a successful restaurateur. In 1994, he opened the Nobu restaurant in New York. The leader is Nobu Matsushita. Since then, the chain has 39 restaurants and eight luxury hotels on five continents. De Niro was also co-owner of the Tribeca Grill and Locanda Verde restaurants.
The actor opened Saints and Sinners in New Orleans in partnership with childhood friend Kate Kurtz. The restaurant serves local specialties such as crocodile tail or crayfish meat pie.
The Modern Family actor opened The Eating Establishment in Park City, Utah. More specifically, he completely updated the concept of a café that had existed in this building for more than forty years. Nearby, the actor opened a bar with the simple name of The Beer Bar.
Handsome from “Sex and the City” in 1999 became part owner of The Cutting Room restaurant and music venue in New York. It is also there that he met his wife, Tara Lynn Wilson, who worked for a time in a bar.
Two JBJ Soul Kitchens in New Jersey serve traditional American cuisine, but have no menu prices: the establishment operates on donations. The singer came up with this concept in 2011 so people in need could eat for free.
