Florida city mayor calls Taylor Swift to take office for one day; clock

Mayor Jane Castor, who commands the city of Tampa, Florida, invited the singer Taylor Swift remain in office for one day. In a video posted on Instagram, the head of the municipal executive welcomes the singer, who is planning a concert in the city. Furthermore, he also symbolically offers the artist the keys to the city.

The Town Hall profile asks followers to tag the singer in the post and asks if “Mayor Swift sounds right.” Watch the video Here.

“In addition to gifting Taylor Swift a key to the city and inviting her to be Mayor of Tampa for a day, the City of Tampa will light up Old Town Hall, @tampariverwalk and downtown red bridges in honor of Eras Tour,” he says the publication.

The singer will perform in the city on April 13 with her tour. Swift, in turn, didn’t comment on her networks about the invitation.
