João stated that, in fact, “I have a lot to talk about and I even had to hold back from speaking when the time wasn’t right. It was very sad to see and hear so many things that weren’t true, but I respected the rules of the audience . My life is very sad and incredibly pointless. My father taught me so many things and what I want is to continue my life honoring all of that,” he lamented.

Finally, the major reiterated his decision to support Gugu’s original decision. “(…) Everything he did was very well thought out and his decisions were always focused on the greater good of all. Anyone who really knew him knows his strong integrity and intelligence in decision making. And today I see his life and the It’s his story to be disrespected with a bunch of lies. My father doesn’t deserve it and I will do anything to defend the truth and his memory,” she said.

Faced with the situation, Rose contested and filed a lawsuit to collect the amounts related to the pension she receives from Gugu’s estate.

If justice recognizes the stable union, Rose Miriam will be entitled to Gugu’s estate, half of the inheritance. The other 50% is compulsorily passed on to the three children, João, Sofia and Marina.
