“I just threw away your last breakfast at home and my heart hurts. I couldn’t keep them here anymore, but looking at the packets of biscuits, the half-eaten jam and the last two slices of bread in the bag, it all made sense. I know, I know it might seem like a sign things aren’t right leaving it there for over seven months, but it’s just that my love, it’s a little bit of you, and I’m left wanting to hold on to whatever dust you have left.” , Fernanda vented.

Erasmus’s widow recounted the pain she felt when throwing food at the game. “I held my breath with a blue bag in my hands, took it all and put it in, exhaled, held it again and carried it all to the trash.
