Who is the ‘Game of Thrones’ actress arrested during a climate protest in the Netherlands?

Dutch actress Carice van Houtenbest known for her role in the series game of Throneswas arrested during a climate protest that ended up with more than 1,500 prisoners in the Netherlands.

The action of the environmental movement Extinction Rebellion (XR) took place in the city of The Hague last Saturday, 27, to criticize the Dutch government’s subsidies to fossil energy.

Carice, who is 46 and played priestess Melisandre in the HBO series, has been released and has returned home, according to Dutch news agency ANP. It is unknown if it will be processed.
