On May 29, on the stage of the Bronnaya Theater, director Kirill Vytoptov and scenographer Nana Abdrashitova presented the play “Rich Brides. New season”. The secular premiere brought together well-known cultural figures, businessmen and journalists.
Director Kirill Vytoptov created a lyrical comedy based on the plays of Alexander Ostrovsky: “Rich Brides” and “Slaves”. It’s a play within a play, a parody of a series in a theatrical performance, where the characters move between Ostrovsky’s time and the present day. The two plots intertwine and lead to an unexpected outcome. It’s a story of love and money, modern “kept women” and the pursuit of happiness.
