HBO Max joins Prime Video channels in Brazil

Prime Video and Warner Bros. Discovery announced a new partnership that will allow Prime members in Brazil to access HBO Max’s catalog of movies and series through the Prime Video Channels service. With this novelty, subscribers will have more content options on a single platform and will also be able to try the services for free for 7 days.

For the uninitiated, Prime Video Channels is a service available within the Amazon streaming platform, which allows you to access catalogs from different platforms, including competitors. With the inclusion of HBO Max, the rival service’s catalog will be available to Prime members through an additional subscription of BRL 34.90 per month, both on TV and mobile devices and online, including Fire TV.

Subscribers will have access to a wide variety of content, such as the popular series ‘Game of Thrones’ and its spin-off ‘House of the Dragon’, as well as ‘The Big Bang Theory’, ‘The Last of Us’ and “Friends”. Movies such as “Shazam! God Clash” and other titles from the DC Comics universe are also available.

The Prime Video platform also offers the possibility of subscribing to other streaming services through the Channels section, with catalogs from other platforms such as Paramount+, Noggin, Lionsgate+, Looke, MGM, Love Nature, Stingray, Premiere, Discovery+, Adrenalina Pura, Reserva Imovision and Mubi.
