Keanu Reeves has a truly diverse filmography. He made history playing Neo in The Matrix, the film that changed the film industry. He worked in auteur cinema – with the legendary Bernardo Bertolucci on the film “Little Buddha” and Gus Van Sant on the tape “My Own Private Idaho”. And in recent years, he’s also mastered the hit genre in the John Wick film series.
It is all the more surprising that all these efforts of the actor have been ignored by critics and experts. Yes, yes, Reeves does not have a single prestigious award: no Oscar, no Emmy, no Golden Globe. Besides, he was never even nominated for them! And we also hit it off with Leo DiCaprio, who has been waiting for his Oscar for 22 years! But he was still waiting, but Keanu had nothing to put on the shelf.
The actor, however, does not complain about it. He won something cooler than statuettes – boundless love from the public. Reeves doesn’t seem to have any haters at all. And how can you hate it. The actor is not at all like an arrogant Hollywood star: he is always open to communication with fans, ready to help everyone, indifferent to secular brilliance and generally behaves like an ordinary person.
