Thomas Anders has started his own podcast “Modern Talking – Simply Different”. And when asked if Dieter Bohlen really owns the vocal parts of the duo’s most famous songs, he replied: “Actually, only Dieter Bohlen knows that.” And then he added, “Well, he never sang in my studio.”

It has already been said that the velvety voice, which can take very high notes, does not actually belong to Bohlen, but to an unknown singer whom Dieter hired for a fee. And so Thomas again provoked this discussion with his statement.

This, in turn, brought Dieter Bohlen to the stage. Because he does not want, Of course, Bohlen did not keep silent. He recorded and posted a video on his personal account in the social network, where he was not too lazy to comment in detail on the words of his former comrade and colleague.

“Thomas Anders pokes fun at Modern Talking fans, Bohlen says. — He says I never sang Modern Talking songs in his studio – it’s true, because he didn’t have a studio. We recorded hits in other people’s studios and I sang there – unlike Anders. He never sang a single high note. We tried once, but he just couldn’t do it.”

Bohlen also disagrees with his former bandmate who poses as the creator of Modern Talking: “He goes everywhere, gets on every stage and sings ‘Cherry, Cherry Lady’, but he can’t do it, it’s not a band. That’s an absolute lie.” Dieter claims that he composed, wrote and produced the songs.

At the end of his video statement, Dieter Bohlen tries to slow down and declares that “everything is fine, forget it”. But it is clear that nothing is in order and it will not be easy for fans to forget yesterday’s squabble between idols. And after the exchange of such barbs, the long-standing dispute between the musicians will rather erupt than be resolved.
