Where is Pedro Furtado, Fred from “Mulheres Apaixonadas”?

Pedro Furtadowho became famous for playing student Fred in Women in love (2003), at Globo, currently in another profession. At the time of the storyline, she was 19 years old.

The character has been talked about for being involved with PE teacher Raquel (Elena Ranaldi), which led to the tragedy of the former teacher who took the young man’s life.

After his success on the soap opera, Pedro started working in audiovisuals, behind the camera.

Pedro Furtado is the son of Jorge Furtadoscreenwriter and author of acclaimed Globo productions, such as mom candy (2012), Mr. Brau (2015-2018) and Under pressure (2017-2022).

After Women in loveFurtado also starred in two Globo productions: the series Antonia (2007) and the miniseries amazon, from Galvez to Chico Mendes (2007). Additionally, he has made appearances in paid TV series, plays and a film, Passion and possibility (2013).

He left acting to invest in screenwriting, starting work in this industry in the 2000s. Pedro has been a writer on programs such as A foot of whatfrom the Futura channel, and from the series phase woman (2011), from HBO.

In 2012, Furtado began working on projects for the O2 production company, from Fernando Meirelles. The artist was the head writer of the series To tunefrom Netflix.
