Regiane Alves leaves Globo after 24 years: ‘It’s not goodbye’

Regiane Alves took to social media this Thursday 10, to announce his departure from Globo, where he remained for 24 years.

The 44-year-old actress took to her Instagram feed to share a sequence of photos of her most successful characters on the station’s soap operas.

He released an emotional statement about his Globo career.

“Today I conclude a 24-year cycle at Globo. In short, a company, a mother to me, who has welcomed me at various times in my life. I started at the actors’ workshop in SP, I was hired by Ricardo Waddington who I bet on my talent, I did it and I had the good fortune and the opportunity to create great characters who are present in the imagination of the Brazilian people”, she started.

“I have always worked on each character with a lot of passion and love for each of them. As @papa10 said: there must be a heaven to receive these characters, where do they go after the end of a project? I love doing soap operas and I love what I do in this profession it is something rare, as Viola Davis said in her book, I know I am the 1% who managed to remain stable in such an unstable profession”continuous.

“I started as a girl, I grew up in the public eye, I made great friends that I carry in my heart, I had passions, in an era where compliance didn’t exist, she laughs… I met the father of my children in this company, life partner, I was a mother, my children had the opportunity to see their mother act here.
