The NFL has removed the singer from the list of presentation options for the halftime final of the competition, which will take place in February 2024
The NFL was negotiating with the singer to have her perform in the 15-minute break of the competition finals. The event will take place on February 11, 2024.
“Talk about Lizzo taking part in halftime festivities or singing the national anthem is dead now that she is surrounded by scandal,” a league source told the publication.
Earlier this month, the American television network NBC news revealed that three dancers are suing Lizzo for sexual and moral harassment. The dancers accuse the singer of being fat and creating a hostile work environment.
