These Hollywood stars in the frame have been replaced by their siblings – and you didn’t notice

Penelope Cruz was pregnant while filming the fourth installment of the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. The director had a brilliant idea – to invite Monica Cruz, his younger sister, as an understudy for the action scenes. They are so similar that audiences probably wouldn’t be able to tell the difference without knowing in advance.

The Hemsworth family has 3 brothers and all the cast are Luke, Chris and Liam. And they all had to do with Thor’s famed role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Liam originally auditioned for the role, but Luke still had a shot at playing Thor onscreen. In Thor: Ragnarok, he appears in one of the scenes in place of his brother.

In one of the scenes, we see two Sarahs at the same time – the real one and her double. The role of “fake” Sarah was played by the actress’s twin sister Leslie.

Rami Malek and his twin brother Sami Malek would certainly have no problem passing off as the same person – Rami even jokes that they’re “so similar that their parents probably lost track of who’s who”.

Jill Hennessy played Assistant District Attorney Claire Kincaid on Law & Order from seasons 4 to 6. But somehow the actress was very busy on other shoots and was forced to miss the filming for the next series. She was covered by twin sister Jacqueline Hennessy, who appeared as Claire Kincaid in her place.

In the third season of the popular series, the hero “diverted.” The actor’s real twin brother, Kelly Donovan, played this lookalike. He also replaced Nicholas on the pitch when he was sick.
