I asked God to hold my hand and not let me feel anything. Everything about that place reminded me of Jeff I cried a lot and screamed too. I was wondering what my son hadn’t been through,” she said.

Furthermore, Maria said she felt inside her son’s grave. “I used to visit him in that house where we were happy. It is very sad to imagine that my son died in a place that was supposed to be his home. That day it seemed that nothing had color. The smell was different, the house was turned upside down , as if I had entered his grave,” he said.

By the way, Maria made the trip accompanied by Jeff Machado’s older brother Diego Machado and a friend. “While my son Diego and his friend sorted things out, I sat on the porch praying. I didn’t feel well. I had no strength,” she said.

Finally, the property has been valued at R$800,000 and will be put up for sale. As of today the apartment will be rented.
