Marcela Mc Gowan and Luiza Martins announce their engagement

Former BBB Marcela McGowan and singer Luiza Martins have announced they are engaged. The two artists shared the news on their social networks this Saturday (26/8), together with photos of the special moment when Luiza proposed to his girlfriend in front of the Harry Potter castle, at Universal Studios Park, during a trip that the couple takes to California.

The request

The location chosen for the engagement request holds special meaning for the relationship. Marcela Mc Gowan explained alongside the photos. “Let’s get married! When I met Lu about her one of her first plans was to take her to see the Harry Potter castle (she loves the film)! And it was in this scenario that she surprised me with the sweetest request in the world !” her former BBB said on her Instagram.

“I said yes to you from the first kiss. I always knew we would go through many things together, and I was always sure I wanted to build a life with you. We choose each other every day, we take care of each other, love each other, admire yourself, protect yourself, prioritize!” added Marcela.

Luiza, in turn, limited herself to replicating the bride’s message on her social networks. The main thing about her was hers, kneeling down and taking the engagement ring.

Dating in the spotlight

Although the affair was heavily publicized in the media, Luiza and Marcela say the relationship was already intense even before it became public. “We dated for a while. Until, one day, they saw me at her show and started calling me asking questions. So we talked and decided to take over,” Marcela told Caras. Luiza added that the relationship has always been very intense from the beginning and that public visibility has been something she has had to adapt to.

The couple, who have been together for two and a half years, started living together in the first months of the relationship. The closest relationship has been driven by the circumstances of the pandemic. “It was a pandemic, she was in Goiânia and I was in São Paulo. Every time we saw each other it was a disaster due to airport protocols. Until I told her to come and spend some time at my house,” he revealed Marcella. They currently live in São Paulo and share the residence with their two cats, Preto and Marília Miaudonça.

In a previous interview, Marcela had already revealed the couple’s desire to formalize the union. “We want to get married on the beach and party, but in our own way and only for people who make sense to us,” said the former BBB, already married in 2016 in a luxury ceremony with a businessman.
