A security camera located near 4,700 Avenida Lucio Costa, located in Barra da Tijuca, west of Rio, recorded the moment of the incident with the actor Kayky Brito. The video circulated on social media.

The actor was run over while returning from his vehicle to get something. Brito was rescued by firefighters after the accident, he was diagnosed with several fractures in his body. He was taken to the Miguel Couto Municipal Hospital in Leblon, south of Rio de Janeiro.

Subsequently, the actor underwent a series of examinations and received the necessary treatment for his stabilization. Later, in the late afternoon of the same Saturday, Kayky Brito was transferred to the Copa D’or hospital, located in Copacabana, also in the South Zone of Rio, where he is sedated and subjected to mechanical ventilation.
