Bruno Mars sent The Town crowd into a frenzy with his veritable ‘parade’ of hits this Sunday night, 3. Backed by a competent, charismatic and swinging band, the singer is back performing in Brazil after a five-year hiatus . Sunday’s performance was his first at the festival as he will return to the stage on 10th September when he concludes The Town 2023.

Bruno kicked off the show with an electrifying performance of ’24K Magic’, progressing through hits like ‘Billionaire’, ‘Leave the Door Open’, ‘Talking To The Moon’ and ‘When I Was Your Man’. The artist sang, danced, squandered the sympathy of the audience and even gave away more intimate moments on the piano.

The public reciprocated. “When I Was Your Man” or “Up Town Funk” won the versions accompanied in choir by the 100 voices that accompanied the event on the Interlagos circuit. Charismatic, he spoke several times to the audience in Portuguese. Fans responded by calling the artist “Bruninho”.

The surprise of the lineup was, in fact, a Brazilian song. The band’s keyboardist played Chitãozinho & Xororó’s big hit, ‘Evidências’. Check out the moment below!
