The driver who hit Kayky Brito makes new revelations about the case

In the early hours of last Saturday (02/09), the actor Kayky Brito was invested in Barra da Tijuca, west of Rio de Janeiro. According to the driver, he would have crossed the lane “suddenly running”.

According to the Extra newspaper, which had access to the police report, the driver said he was taken by surprise by the actor. Furthermore, he also said that he tried to swerve to avoid the collision, switching from the left to the right lane, but without success.

Kayky’s state

Kayky was hit from the left front of the car, and he fell to the ground with the heavy impact, causing multiple body injuries and head trauma. He was rescued by firefighters and taken to the hospital, where he is admitted to the CTI in serious condition.

The driver was taken to the police station and medical examiner’s office in downtown Rio, where he underwent a breathalyzer test, which showed he was not under the influence of any type of alcoholic drink.
