For three days now, the content creator has been busy telling her saga with the apartment that she rented during the pandemic, renovated and which she now has to return to the owner.

In the midst of social isolation in 2020, the influencer decided to rent a small apartment to have a space of her own. “Not everything that’s good on the internet is good in real life.

In collaboration with the architecture firm, Dora believed she would refurbish the place in three months. “What was supposed to be a dream turned into a nightmare and the biggest waste of money of my life,” she revealed. The young woman says that, with the project ready and idealized, the company decided that the work would no longer be a partnership, that she would have to pay for some things and that the renovation would actually take six months.

“But that’s okay, plans change and I decided to continue. I was completely in love with everything and I really wanted to make this dream come true,” she said. “Delays in work happen. But it’s not just that,” she stressed, stating that the problems appeared during and especially after the work was already finished.

The idea of ​​the young woman was to be able to buy the apartment in the future. “Over time, it has become too small here for me, for my job, for the things I do. I feel like the project wasn’t realistic for my life,” she said.

Even so, with the apartment ready, Dora wanted to keep the space so she could rent or even bring her mother to live there. However, according to her, the “absurd” owner has increased the value, “and what really changed and enhanced this apartment was the work that I paid for,” she said. “It was hard for me, I don’t have the money and I’ll have to move. It wouldn’t make sense to pay for the job twice,” she vented.

Dora’s case is not the only similar one on the Internet. The same happened with the influencer JennyKeller. The artist was preparing a reality to show her followers the changes she was going to make to her rented apartment.

In the middle of the process she received a call from the real estate agency telling her that the landlord had asked for the apartment back. “We even tried to negotiate, but there was no way.
