In July, Rica told the podcast O Poder nos Bastidores that she had argued with a delivery driver who refused to leave the lobby and deliver the food she ordered to her apartment door. According to Perrone, the motorcyclist got on, but said the right thing to do would be for the customer to get off “to get the fucking order.” Perrone says he felt disrespected at his front door and threw the package at the deliveryman.

On Instagram, the driver responded. “I didn’t say ‘get your damn order’. I just answered his question about not wanting to leave my motorbike on the street, after a friend was robbed there that same week. They can’t understand that the delivery man “app is not their employee. Room service is available in a hotel, not in a delivery app.”

According to Marcio, after the episode, he continues to work normally with the delivery app. “My Ifood account remains active and I continue to work hard, thank God. Just as he told me, I too have reported attacks and discrimination! Iffod analyzes the delivery man’s story. I have already made almost 4 thousand deliveries and thank God I have had few problems.”

In a note signed by his lawyer, the motorbike courier reports that he was “double attacked” after Rica’s unmasking and claims that the offenses caused him to “panic”. “The Technical Defense will evaluate the responsibility of all those involved together with the Prosecutor’s Office”, reads the statement.
