The band Aerosmith has announced the cancellation of all concerts scheduled for this year due to a serious vocal injury suffered by their lead singer, Steven Tyler.

In a statement released on social media, the band revealed that the injury Steve It’s more serious than initially thought. In addition to the damage to his vocal cords, he fractured his larynx, which requires ongoing care.

Tyler’s doctor confirmed the severity of the injury and stressed that given the nature of the fracture, patience is key to his recovery.

Accordingly, all shows on the tour PEACE OUTSIDE scheduled for this year have been postponed to 2024. The new dates will be announced as soon as the band has more information.

In the statement, Steve Tyler expressed his sadness: “I’m heartbroken that I won’t be out there with Aerosmith, my brothers and the incredible Black Crowes, playing for the best fans in the world. I promise we’ll be back as soon as we can!”

The band has ensured that all previously purchased tickets will be valid for the new dates. Additionally, refunds will be available for those unable to attend once the new dates are announced. The band recommends that fans who have questions about refunds contact the point of purchase of their tickets.

With more than 50 years of history, the band announced its farewell tour entitled PEACE OUT in May 2023. The 40-show special series was scheduled to begin in September in Philadelphia and run until January 2024 in Montreal. The tour also included a special performance in the band’s hometown of Boston on New Year’s Eve.
