Walewska’s make-up artist reveals last moments with the athlete: ‘She was beautiful’

The make-up artist Raphael Furlan he opened his heart and revealed the details of his final moments with Walewska Oliveira, who died at the age of 43 in Sao Paulo. In an interview with CARAS Brasil, he said that he was at the athlete’s house on the day of his death.

“We were with Walewska on September 21st. She was beautiful, all dressed in white, and talking about how busy the next week would be […] We finished the good thing and when I left she called me and hugged me, which was a little long. I gave her a kiss and said, ‘See you next week'”the professional recalled.

And he continued: “I can’t even talk about her in the past tense. To me she still is! I’ve been a fan of athlete Wal forever. I had so much fun there in 2008 with her. I never thought it would be like this last visit that she would have received. I think about her every single day.”

“I started screaming”

Walewska’s makeup artist also remembered the moment he received the sad news of the athlete’s death. “I started screaming desperately at home, I sent a message to Wal. When it was delivered I felt more relieved. But obviously I never received a response. After some time I contacted his agent, who confirmed the fateful event to me. news. . We didn’t sleep that night. It was horrible.”He complained.
