The popularity of Diana, Princess of Wales is timeless. The Queen of Hearts passed away in late summer 1997, but she remains a style icon and fashion inspiration. Rose van Rijen is literally obsessed with becoming an exact copy of Lady Dee – and I have to say she more than succeeded!

Rose van Rijn is a young social media star from the Netherlands. Rose was born in 2001 and became obsessed with the 70s style as a teenager when she started listening to the music of ABBA.

In her first posts, the girl copied the Australian actress and singer Olivia Newton-John, the star of the cult film Grease. Olivia’s beloved screen heroine John Travolta inspired entire generations with her image.

However, Rose got really famous in 2021 when she shared a video on TikTok of styling her hair with a vintage Remington hair dryer brush. However, it was not the device at all – the Dutchwoman managed to replicate Princess Diana’s hairstyle!

Rose continued to experiment and soon achieved incredible success. The girl’s external resemblance to Lady Dee also played a role in the success, and. of course, her talent as a stylist.

During the recent celebration of the 70th anniversary of the reign of Elizabeth II, van Rijn roamed the streets of Amsterdam in the form of the Princess of Wales and literally drove passersby crazy.

Does Rose look like Princess Diana?

Yes very

Not particularly

People were literally screaming in surprise, as they were sure Lady Dee’s reincarnation was heading their way!

Still, it’s good that Rose van Rijn hasn’t thought about going to London – at least not yet. It is impossible to predict what effect the appearance of a living copy of Princess Diana in Britain’s capital amidst the honor of the Platinum Jubilee of Her Majesty’s reign would have caused.
