Felipe Neto’s chocolate campaign turns into a political dispute

Since there are no important topics to discuss in Brazil, politicians from the right and left started a dispute this weekend over a brand of chocolate promoted by YouTuber Felipe Neto.

Bis’ advertising campaign with the digital influencer did not please the Bolsonarists who, after the announcement of the partnership, began to promote a boycott of Lacta’s chocolate.

Boycott from the right

The hashtag “#Bis NuncaMais” became one of the most discussed topics in last year’s elections.

AndrĂ© Fernandes (PL-EC) declared that Neto is “one of the guys who preach the most hatred on the Internet” and that he therefore wanted a boycott of the Bis. Another declared enemy of the influencer, federal deputy Nikolas Ferreira (PL-MG), wrote “And of course, #Bis NuncaMais.” Furthermore, photos of competing chocolates, such as Kit Kat, were also circulated, encouraging right-wing voters to consume products from other brands.

Left support

Faced with the offensive, left-wing senators such as Randolfe Rodrigues (Sem Partido-AP) and Humberto Costa (PT-PE) posed with Bis chocolates in support of the influencer.

“The Bolsonions want to attack Felipe Neto for this. We are together,” said Humberto, while Randolfe encouraged: “Felipe, we are with Bis.”

Felipe Neto’s reaction

Bolsonarist radicalism has already generated several crimes against Felipe Neto, which have contributed to increasing his finances, as he has sued and won in court right-wing personalities, obtaining compensation for moral damages. The new attack, of a financial nature, aims to discredit him among his sponsors.

Reacting to this tactic, Felipe thanked the brand for its support. He posted a video with an outburst: “10 months have passed. Brazil has not collapsed, things are normal. I think it’s time to start reducing this anger, this hatred, this desire to destroy, to ruin. For the love of God “. “.
