Silvia Abravanel reveals tears and pain for Patricia: “She just wanted her to appear”

Daughter no. 2 by Silvio Santos says that n. 4 was always jealous of her visibility on SBT and made her leave the Telethon stage devastated

In a chat with Luciana Gimenez in the videocast of ‘Bagaceira Chique’, Silvia Abravanel recounted the details of an episode that happened at the 2015 Telethon.

“Patrícia is very jealous, she has always been very jealous and she just wanted to appear, she just wanted to stand out,” she said.

“He stood in front of me in front of the camera, isolated me, didn’t let me talk. She told me ‘look, come there, give your message, she talks about Luana (Silvia PwD’s daughter) and stay quiet for the whole program.

Surprised, Silvia followed Patricia’s order. “I didn’t understand very well, but I cooperated. But it started to hurt, I was on air, all of Brazil was watching it.”

Cornered on the stage of the family broadcaster, where she has always worked as a producer, director and presenter, she couldn’t stand the situation.

“I found a magical way to get off stage. I left crying. It was a very heavy thing at the time. I was very upset, there was no need,” she says.

“I really don’t sing, I don’t tap dance, I don’t dance like her and Tiago (Abravanel, son of Cintia, eldest son of Silvio Santos), but it was a question of jealousy, ‘let me see’.”

Silvia told Gimenez that she had never talked about this with Patricia. She preferred to “leave it alone”. They had already had friction previously, also linked to the bonfire of vanities.

“She was jealous when I joined SBT. You said that SBT has become a commodity, it is becoming a construction site. Jealous…feud.”

The presenter of ‘Sábado Animado’ said that there was never any rivalry on her part. “I’m jealous, but I always wanted my sisters to grow up, to excel in the area they were best at. So much so that today everyone has their own space (within family businesses)”.

In 2015 he reported his discomfort on Telethon by answering a Facebook follower’s question about not being present much at the television event. “Dear, she (Patrícia) oppressed me. She asked me to shut up,” she wrote. Some websites reported the incident.

Silvia Abravanel, closing the issue on ‘Bagaceira Chique’, made a point of saying that she doesn’t hold a grudge. “I love my sister.”
