The influencer hears screams while recording stories on a cruise and helps save shipwrecked people in Rio; understand


Laura Alvarenga was recording stories to show the landscape when she heard cries for help: ‘You have to call someone’; Next, you showed the rescue of shipwreck victims

The influencer Laura Alvarenga Pires Lima he was on a cruise Angra dos Reis, in Rio de Janeiro, when he experienced an unexpected situation. Last Sunday night, the 19th, she started recording stories for her Instagram, showing the seascape, until she heard cries for help.




“Look how beautiful it is, it’s all blue. It’s not an effect,” he began. Then, she started hearing screams. “What the fuck is this? There is someone there asking for help, is it in the middle of the sea? We need to call someone”, the influencer reacted desperately.

Then he called the cruise desk and said that many people saw it and were probably able to report it. The ship sounded an alarm and changed course, searching for the boat. “I’m in disbelief,” the influencer said.

The calls for help came from a fishing boat, which sank on the high seas. In Laura’s stories it was possible to see the rescue of the castaways. “They issued an alarm saying that all the shipwrecked crew had been rescued,” she said. “Let’s celebrate. I’m in shock. I never thought I’d see something like this. But I’m glad I did.”

The boat was carrying seven amateur fishermen. Second Bruna Moraisnephew of one of the survivors, the ship was adrift on the high seas for 26 hours.

“Thank God, they were with people who were military, they had preparation and training. That helped a lot in determining how to survive,” he said. “The boat veered very quickly, it was windy and they ended up on the hull.”

One of the crew members did not survive. According to the program RJTV, is the fisherman José Tito, 60 years old. “One person, remaining in the cabin, hit his head and is believed to have fainted,” Bruna reported. “They managed to capture the person and support him on the boat. They tried to give him a cardiac massage for 40 minutes but without success.”

“So they took all the jackets, put them on, tied a rope and drifted until someone came for help. In that time 26 hours passed and, by some miracle, the Transatlantic was approaching,” he said.
