Globo will launch two channels exclusively on Globoplay: ‘Viva 70 fast’ and ‘Viva 80 fast’, dedicated respectively to television drama from the 70s and 80s. From next Monday, 27/11, soap lovers will be able to follow the great successes of plim-plim again, or for the first time.




On Viva 70 fast the program includes three simultaneous titles: ‘A Sucessora’ (1978), ‘Locomotivas’ (1977) and ‘Dancin days’ (1978). On Viva 80 Fast the program includes four titles: ‘Baila Comigo’ (1981), ‘Sassaricando’ (1988), ‘Amor com Amor se Paga’ (1984) and ‘Fera Radical’ (1988). Five episodes of each soap opera will be broadcast each week, Monday to Friday, with reruns every three hours on weekdays and a marathon on weekends.

Globo began the FAST (free, ad-supported streaming television) channel experience in December 2022, with the launch of ‘Receitas fast’ and ‘ge fast’ on Globoplay and Samsung TV Plus, aimed at niche gastronomy and sports , both with good performances. Now, the company delves into its treasured collection of classic soap operas to bring two channels featuring the best of the most consumed genre to Globoplay.
