Ana Furtado Reveals She’s ‘Permanently Recovered’ From Breast Cancer; watch the video

Ana Furtado revealed this Wednesday, 29 years old, to be cured of breast cancer. On Instagram she shared a video with the doctor Fernando Maluf.

In the recording, the oncologist broke the news: “It is a great pleasure, a joy, to say that Aninha, after five years of treatment, is absolutely healed.” According to Fernando, the presenter’s tests are “completely negative”.

Ana will simply have to continue taking her annual exams. In the caption of the post she wrote: “Definitely cured. Yesterday I was about to have my series of discharge tests for breast cancer.”

“I received confirmation of the happiest news of my life. The news I had been waiting for for 5 years! I was sure that this day would come. And so it did,” he celebrated.

In May 2018, Ana Furtado publicly revealed her breast cancer diagnosis, highlighting the importance of self-examination and family support on her journey. After undergoing surgery to remove the tumor and undergoing post-operative treatment, including chemotherapy, the presenter achieved remission of the disease.
