Naiara Azevedo showed police photos of bruises allegedly caused by her ex-husband

Singer Naiara Azevedo showed police in Goiás state photos of bruises on her arms and legs that she said were caused by her ex-husband, businessman Rafael Cabral. The information was revealed by presenter Patrícia Poeta, in the program Encounter this Friday 1.

Photos are also displayed in a call to the program Fantastic, of TV Globo, for which the singer recorded an interview which will be broadcast on Sunday 3. In the video, the journalist talks about “threats and attacks” of which Naiara would have been the victim. Naiara Azevedo filed a police complaint against her ex-husband for domestic violence in Goiás on November 30. The artist’s defense informed that she accuses Rafael Cabral of bodily harm, insults, threats, embezzlement and violence against property. Naiara and Cabral were married for ten years. They divorced in 2021.

Before the farmer’s defense revealed the accusation of violence against property, the g1 website reported that, in the police report, Naiara had stated that she feared for her life. This is because Rafael would have taken out a very high value life insurance policy in his name, owning it himself. The Court of Goiás granted a precautionary measure to Naiara Azevedo, based on the Maria da Penha Law.

Among the repercussions of the case, Naiara postponed the show that she would have performed on Saturday 2nd in Vale de São Domingos (MT), which does not yet have a new scheduled date. Naiara Azevedo’s other presentations, for now, remain unchanged, according to his press office.
