Model Maria Luiza Silveira said she was addicted to controlled drugs and reported having difficulty kicking the addiction

Actor Paulo Vilhena’s wife, model Maria Luiza Silveira, 27, spoke in a podcast about the battle she faced with drug addiction. “I said it with great pride. It’s the best thing in the world. I loved it. It’s addictive for a reason,” she said in an interview with Take off your shoes.

During the chat, the couple talked about how Luli was able to kick her addiction to Vyvanse, a drug used to treat Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). The actor’s wife, who is on air, currently in the telenovela rerun Tropical paradisesaid many people don’t pay attention to the risks and, as a result, could end up becoming addicted.

“Everything has a price and the price of medicines is very high. I tell everyone, be careful because it is very attractive,” he said.

Maria Luiza also told the podcast that she had the actor’s help in overcoming her addiction. “It’s very difficult to quit drugs because you start to identify your personality with the drugs,” she revealed. She said her mother also helped her a lot during the process. “I couldn’t be alone. My mother had to stop working for about four months to stay home with me,” she told the publication.

Maria Luiza and Paulo Vilhena have been together since 2019 and got married in June this year. Shortly after, in August, the couple had Manoela, Paulinho’s first daughter, who is 44 years old.
