Claudia Alencar, 73 years old, is hospitalized in serious condition at the intensive care unit of the Clínica São Vicente, in Gávea, South Zone of Rio
He said the actress went to the hospital’s emergency room on December 17 and had to be admitted after being diagnosed with a bacterial infection.
“Unfortunately, my mother is hospitalized in serious condition. She is battling an acute bacterial infection which I believe resulted from complications from spinal surgery she recently underwent. It’s tough, but she is very brave.”Yann said.
“The improvement is still very slow. It’s not getting worse, so at least that’s a good sign. I live in Los Angeles [nos Estados Unidos] and I’m getting organized to see what I can do from here. But we have a group of her friends together to help her and there is always someone with her in the hospital. She needs to get out of this situation”He added.
