The gospel singer Shulamite Alves published a tribute to her husband, Ricardo Henrique, who died on January 3, aged 30. At that time, he drowned after jumping into a river to help his wife.




“You have been and will always be my great love. Thank you for the seven happiest years of my life. I was loved, cared for, hugged. You were my foundation,” he wrote. She also recalled how they met and how their relationship began.

“In 2016 we got married, we had no conditions, but we won. You were my number one fan. You always said you loved seeing me sing. We got here with a lot of hardships, but God honored us, he took take care of us.”

“You gave your life for me. You died a hero. I love you, Ricardo Henrique. You said: if necessary, I will give my life for you. I was angry, I didn’t like it when you said this. I was loved, very loved “You were loved, my love,” he continued.

“You are with the Father. I will continue, my love. I will not stop, no, I will go to the end, doing the will of the Father. I love you”, he concluded.

According to information from the g1 website, Ricardo Henrique died in the Brejinho de NAzaré region, in Tocantins. The couple were on the banks of the Tocantins River with her friends when Sulamita reportedly got into trouble in the water and her husband dove in to save her. She managed to get out, but he didn’t. Ricardo’s body was found hours later.

Recently, on December 15, the couple attracted attention for having suffered an accident that caused the car they were traveling in towards Cuiabá to overturn. There were no serious injuries at that time.
