Tiago Leifert once again complains about fake news and insinuates omissions by Mark Zuckerberg’s company; understand

Tiago Leifert he once again complained about being associated with fake news spread on social media. The former BBB host posted a story about Instagram criticizing the Objective — network controller, as well as Facebook AND Whatsapp – where it belongs Marco Zuckerberg. When contacted, the company said that these practices are prohibited on the platform and that it is working to combat them.

In the publication he shows a reproduction of an advertisement that says “Tiago Leifert reveals he won every day at Loto Fácil” and writes in bold letters that the post is false. Above Leifert states: “Do you know when a false advertisement like this would air on television? Never.”

It also questions Meta’s responsibility in disseminating the material, pitting the company’s value against the monitoring structure and countering the proliferation of untruthful content. “The Goal is worth 996 billion dollars and doesn’t have a team to watch it? Does it broadcast something without checking it?”, he asked indignantly.

It is not the first time that the presenter has complained in recent days. He joined Fatima Bernardes AND Pedro Bial to protest after being victims of the coup deepfake. Bial he even accused Meta of being complicit in “falsification, fraud and charlatanism”, again in a post on Instagram.

“Activities that are intended to deceive, defraud, or exploit others are not allowed on our platforms, and we are constantly improving our technology to combat suspicious activity.
