The Civil Police of Campinas carried out an operation this Tuesday 23rd, investigating a couple of influencers, residing in Indaiatuba, about a hundred kilometers from Sao Paulo, suspected of having generated approximately R$14 million from gambling, including the famous “tigrinho game”. Ismael Belchior, 31, and Jade Belchior, 21, are under investigation for exploitation of electronic gambling and money laundering.

The couple have had their social media accounts deactivated. According to TV Globo, four luxury cars, mobile phones and documents from both men were seized in the operation.

Luxury items were always displayed on their profiles, as a way to lure followers into playing gambling games. Ismael and Jade also took many trips abroad and seemed to enjoy themselves at different properties.

In addition to the suspension of the profiles on the networks, the Court also ordered the freezing of the assets of the suspects. Without active profiles, the Earth failed to contact influencers. The space remains open for updates.
