Rico Melquiades is criticized after undergoing a cosmetic procedure

The winner of the reality A Fazenda 13, by TV Record, explained the procedure that was presented

Rico Melquiades was criticized on social media after releasing details of a cosmetic procedure he underwent. The A Fazenda 13 program sample used PMMA (30% polymethyl methacrylate) on the thighs and buttocks and this sparked public outrage over the myths and information related to the product.

In an interview with journalist Leo Dias, Rico pointed out that the treatment was carried out with great care, with a medical team and in a legal manner. “People get very confused with hydrogel, with industrial silicone, this is not allowed, it is not allowed,” he reiterated. The procedure was performed in Maringá, Paraná, with Dr. Luiza Rocha, a specialist in body contouring through minimally invasive resources.

He specifies that the product used follows all ANVISA standards and certifications, with use reserved for doctors. Rico also said that several friends and celebrities have had the same treatment, but that they do not speak to avoid controversy.

“I was the first public person to bring this procedure to people’s attention,” said the one who is still recovering and is already released to practice some physical exercises.
