The former host of the Band is diagnosed with cancer: “I am a warrior”

Live Romanelliformer presenter of Band, Rede TV AND Journal, shocked the web by revealing this Thursday, 01/02, that she has been diagnosed with cancer. At 61, it is the second time the communicator has fought the disease. In her outburst she underlined her strength and confidence that the treatment will be successful.

“Speak, my people! How are you? Is everything okay? Let’s have a quick chat, because I always like to update you on my life, which is an open book. Whoever accompanies me here knows that I went to the doctor to remove another mole on my arm, which according to the mapping I had to remove”, He said.

And he added: “Yesterday the results came out of my biopsy, which I took last week, and unfortunately, it came back positive for melanoma again. Again, guys! So, I’ll have to do the whole process again. I’ll have to have another surgery surgery, I have already sent the documentation to my oncologist so we can accelerate the plan and get it done as quickly as possible.”

Then, still letting off steam, the presenter remembered the other tumor she faced two years ago, which was quite serious. But the new diagnosis is more worrying because, in her opinion, it is the deadliest.

“I asked the oncologist if there is a difference… [câncer] of my leg, the left one, two years ago, was much more serious than now. Not that it isn’t, because melanoma is the deadliest skin cancer that exists today. Unfortunately it’s very hard to say, but when you receive a diagnosis like this… I swore to God, I looked at my mole and thought: ‘nothing will happen’. But when you get a diagnosis like that again, which shows that you have melanoma, the situation opens up. But let’s move on, I’m a strong, warrior woman and nothing will happen. Now I train because I really enjoy it. A kiss and thank you“, he concluded.
