Simony reveals new tests for bowel cancer

This Wednesday the 21st Simony took to her Instagram to update fans on the tests she’s undergoing to monitor for bowel cancer.

The 47-year-old singer was diagnosed with the disease in August 2022. She is at the Albert Einstein Hospital, in Sao Paulo, where she recorded a video, saying it has been a week of agony and fear.

“I decided to come here and make this video to explain myself better [o que está acontecendo]. I always do these tests every six months. I had the MRI, PET and still have another test tomorrow. These two tests I did are beautiful, just like the one I did”, said the artist.

“I’m in remission, there’s no tumor, there’s nothing. And I still need this last test, which is the complement to all of these, which is a CT scan, it’s a very important test.
