Footballer Daniel Alves was sentenced to 4 years and 6 months in prison for raping a 24-year-old girl in Barcelona
The trial on the case took place from 5 to 7 February and the decision was announced this Thursday morning (22/02) by the Superior Court of Justice of Catalonia.
After 4 and a half years in prison, the Brazilian national team player will have another 5 years of probation. Furthermore, he cannot approach the victim’s home or place of work.
