The actor Lima Duarte He turned 94 on the 29th. To celebrate the new milestone he spent the weekend with his family and published several photos on Instagram.



“I offer this toast as a thank you to all of you who wished me good things to celebrate my 94th birthday. Greetings,” he wrote.

On his birthday he published a video in which he remembered the path of his life. “I lived through the Constitutionalist Revolution in 1932. I saw the start of the Second World War in 1939. I grew up in the 40s, 50s and 60s. In the 40s I went to Sao Paulo on a mango truck,” he said.

“I grew up and ventured through the 50s, 60s and 70s. In the 70s I made my first soap opera on Globo. Have I become wiser in the 2000s?

“Result: I lived nine different decades, two different centuries, two different millennia,” he recalled. “I’ve been through a lot, a lot, but what a beautiful life I’ve lived. A big round of applause for me.”

In February, one of the actor’s daughters, Júlia Martins, died at the age of 49. The cause was not disclosed. She was admitted to the São Camilo hospital, in the Pompeia neighborhood of São Paulo, but she did not survive.

A few days later he went to the Casa Espírita in Sacramento, Minas Gerais. “I have not forgotten Guimarães Rosa, who tells us: ‘Pray a lot. And have faith. Because everything is linked to God,'” he wrote.
