The actor Wagner Moura47 years old, who now debuts in the film Civil warof the A24 production company, was remembered in an interview conducted at the age of 11 of his move to Nova Rodelas, in Bahia, with his family, after the construction of a hydroelectric power plant that would have flooded the city of Rodelas.

Despite being born in Salvador, Wagner grew up in the municipality, which suffered from flooding after the construction of a local hydroelectric dam. In the video, he regretted moving to another city.

“I didn’t really want to move, but now that I’ve moved, I think it’s cool,” he said at the time. He concludes by saying that he is not used to the change: “Because this is the place where we play, there are already things that we already know. For us everything is strange there.”

The interview was also recalled by Wagner recently during his visit to Podpah. “When I was 10 years old, everyone had to move to the city of Nova Rodelas. And the TV crews went to get him. There’s a video on the internet that shows me when I was 11,” she said.
