Celebrities rally to help RS flood victims; I wait!

Rio Grande do Sul, a Brazilian state, is facing its biggest climate disaster, with flooding caused by heavy rains. With thousands homeless, people missing and more than 70 dead (as of early this Sunday, 05/05), celebrities are using their visibility to ask for help.

Among these, the comedian Whindersson Nunes, who is involved in the campaign and has already collected more than R$ 3 million in donations. The former BBB Matteooriginally from Alegrete, a municipality in Rio Grande do Sul, is participating in the campaign and managed to raise R$ 1 million in about 12 hours.

Luisa Sonza, also from Rio Grande do Sul, he actively and often shares details of the tragedy and different ways to help. “I’m very sad, many people I know are there, so I ask a lot: help me”, said Luisa. She also revealed that her father is in the region to help the homeless.

Other famous people, such as Luan Santana, Ivete Sangalo, Taís Araujo, Tiago Iorc, Davi Brito, They share with their thousands of followers various means to help victims. There are also those who have donated or will still donate sums, such as native Gustavo Lima, who confirmed that he will donate the entire proceeds of the next ‘Boteco’ festival to help the cause.
