The situation in Rio Grande do Sul has had global repercussions. This is because heavy rains have hit the state, leaving a trail of destruction, with thousands of people homeless and without access to basic services. Therefore, several international celebrities are showing solidarity with the cause and sending some kind of help.




Singer Beyoncé’s institution, BeyGood, announced on social media that its partner CUFA – Central Única das Favelas – is in Rio Grande do Sul to help local residents. In fact, the organization has also asked for support and donations via PIX or PayPal, from anyone in the world.

Now the singer Louis Tomlinson it also supports the state. This is because the artist revealed on her Instagram profile that she had made a monetary donation to purchase supplies. Furthermore, she underlined that during her fashion shows in Brazil, from 8 to 11 May, there will be collection points for donations that will be destined for the south.

OR Apple CEO Tim Cook said the brand also showed solidarity with Rio Grande do Sul. “Our hearts go out to everyone affected by the devastating floods in Brazil. Apple will make a donation to help with local reinforcements,” she said.
