To celebrate Tom Cruise’s 60th birthday, director Christopher McQuarrie shared an unedited photo of “Mission: Impossible – Payback, Part 1” on social media. In the image, this Sunday’s birthday boy (3/7) appears defying death, holding – without a parachute – on the wings of a small airplane that flies upside down tens of meters high.
“Happy 60th birthday Tom,” wrote the director next to the picture.
Once again written and directed by McQuarrie, responsible for the two previous films in the series, the seventh film in the “Mission: Impossible” series will be released on July 13, 2023 in Brazil, a day before its release in the United States.
