Ary Fontoura talks about his artistic career and success on social media: ‘An honest way to approach’

Ary Fontoura participated in the Conversation with Bial in a program aired last Friday, the 24th. In the interview he recalled his artistic career and spoke about his success on social media. The 91-year-old actor has surpassed the 5.7 million follower mark on Instagram.

When asked how he “enchanted” so many Internet users, Fontoura joked on the subject. “If he was so enchanted, it’s because Ary is charming,” she said. “The page gives me a lot of joy, because I have the opportunity to communicate with people. I have received messages from people (…) who talk about their loneliness, their sadness, their joy.”

“This was a much more honest way to get closer to people and really show who I am,” he recalled.

According to the actor, he has a professional who helps him, Rodrigo, who also takes care of the business part of his career. “He was the one who gave me the idea. (…) We edit on cell phones, and our team is him and me. Sometimes I sleep, someone knocks on the door [e fala]: ‘I had an idea for the content!'” he joked.

For Fontoura, routine follows constant work, as an actor or influencer. “I have been in the profession for 76 years and in these 76 years I have been looking for work”, she added.
