Guilherme Ferreira de Souza was filmed while negotiating water donations sent to the inhabitants of Canoas, one of the cities most affected by the tragedy in the south of the country. After learning what happened, the team of Fantastic He pretended to be interested in purchasing the water and arranged a meeting with the man.

At the designated location, the reporter said he was a journalist and questioned Guilherme about selling the donated water. “Nobody takes it, I have to get rid of this water […]”, the man replied, as you can see in the video above.

He stated that he did not agree with the use of the image for the report and then attacked the Globo cameraman. The program stated that journalists had opened a police report against the man. The production claims that the camera used was damaged.

Guilherme went to the police station, gave a statement and was released. The water he sold was distributed in a center in the city of Canoas.
